Cleaning technologies

A whole division of INTRA Services Company in Samara deals with equipment cleaning.  The most advanced technologies, modern equipment and materials are used for cleaning.  Our technologies allow to clean pipelines and equipment with sediments occupying up to 100% of section area of pipeline.

TECHNOLOGY FIELD OF APPLICATION:

  • Cleaning of tanks and reservoirs;

  • Cleaning of heat exchangers (heaters, boilers, oil and air coolers, condensing units, evaporator stations etc.);

  • Cleaning of compressor cylinders cooling jackets of gas transmission stations;

  • Cleaning of gas air cooling units of all types;

  • Cleaning of steam and hot water boilers;

  • Cleaning of fractional columns.

CLEANING TECHNOLOGIES

Sandblasting allows to clean surface from scale, rust, old paint. Mobile sandblasting units allows to treat any complex shaped surfaces, to give the desired surface appearance and characteristics - unwanted materials are removed, surface is hardened and prepared for coating.

Mechanical-cavitation cleaning  is performed by “Tornado” unit with cutting heads or brushes and water feeding through hollow rods. Due to special design of cutting heads, sediments having concrete strength can be removed. It is the best option to remove sediments, occupying more than 50% of boiler or heat exchanger pipes cross section. Also, mechanical cleaning is performed using highly efficient single ramrod system. This is effective way to clean viscous sediments out from bundles (tar, bitumen) with usage of high pressure hot water, control of ramrod turning and manipulation is performed from remote control, it improves safety of work with hot water.

Hydrodynamic cleaning - is an effective way to remove hard sediments from pipeline  internal surface with any length and configuration of technological equipment. Work principle based on high pressure water flow. Scale residues from internal surface are effectively washed out by high pressure units - treated surface turns smoother than after mechanical treatment (drilling, bead blasting etc.).  In many cases, the hydrodynamic cleaning is an alternative to capital repair of equipment and pipelines, it is appearing many times more economical.

Hydrochemical cleaning - Chemical cleaning procedure is forced circulation of industrial cleaning agent inside pipeline, it allows to achieve high quality of cleaning and equipment lifetime extension.

JOB REFERENCE LIST

  • Cleaning of vertical storage tank for vacuum gasoil with volume 5000m3 and residues 225 m3. Full range of works was completed in 11 days. (Customer work schedule - 21 days);

  • Cleaning of six vertical storage tanks with volume 5000 m3 and total volume of oil sludge residues more than 900m3 during 30 working days (work schedule - 60 days);

  • From 2012 till 2014 at one of refinery facility 62 vertical storage tanks with volume from 2000 m3 to 20 000 m3 were cleaned, more than 20 000 m2 of oil sludge were removed;

  • Crude distillation unit heat exchanger cleaning works were performed. In general 26 heat exchangers with diameter from 800 till 1400 mm and length 6000 mm and 42 sections of air-cooling unit were cleaned. Customer work schedule were 18 days. Due to implementation of new high-effective equipment, work terms were reduced to 12 days, without compromising quality;

  • From 2012 till 2014 during complex repairs 848 heat exchangers Ø = from 400 to 1600 mm and 509 sections of air-cooling units were maintained.

  • 42 heat exchangers with total length 75138 linear meters cleaning works. Work were performed during winter time at subzero temperature -25C. On-call mobilization were carried out within 24 hours.
