Oxifree is a polymer system for protecting metal parts. It contains organic corrosion inhibitors that protect parts from all corrosive agents. The system can be reused and provides an unrivaled level of equipment protection.
The material is applied in liquid form with the help of special compact mobile devices. If necessary, the material can be easily removed and can be used repeatedly (up to 6 times).
The main tasks that are solved with the use of Oxifree are anticorrosion coating of flanges, bolted joints, housings, bearings, stop valves, critical connections, pipelines and metal surfaces, regardless of their size and shape, in contact with aggressive media. In addition, Oxifree - an excellent solution for a wide range of tasks, including protection of spare parts, vertical supports, etc.

Methods of application
To heat and apply OxifreeTM 198, one of the three models of the Polymelt mobile device should be used:
Polymelt 12 (loading capacity - 5,5 kg); The device is compact and convenient to move with small volumes of material;
Polymelt 50 and Polymelt 50 ATEX2-22 (loading capacity - 22 kg); Model for tasks related to continuous application of material and work in an aggressive environment.
To reuse the material, the following surface preparation is recommended: removal of delaminated coating particles and rust; treatment with a solvent with water to remove oil contaminants; drying the surface.
Recommended coating thickness:
4.0 mm to protect a specific area / surface area;
2.0 mm for the protection of stored components.
The drying time depends on the environmental conditions and surface temperature, but does not exceed the following values:
5 ... 10 min. - when applied in two layers;
15 minutes. - for free circulation: (to avoid burns of the skin).
When used in extremely high or extremely low temperatures and under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, traces of rust inhibitors can appear on the surface of the material, which will slightly change the appearance of the coating, but will not affect the effectiveness of the protection.
For application of the material at a temperature below -15˚C, it is necessary to perform work in a continuous mode and after preliminary removal of icing and moisture. The maximum surface temperature of the application is 90 ° C. For operation at a temperature of about -25 ° C or lower, the addition of Oxifree additives may be required.
When applying in an aggressive environment, fire fighting equipment should be used: water vapor, fire extinguisher: powder, foam, carbon dioxide. Fire extinguishing technique - similar to the fire of petroleum products.
